The presentation slides included here were developed and presented as part of the “Scientific Communication in Practice” workshop, held on 4-6 March 2026, in Larissa Greece. These provide a practical introduction to science communication, covering topics that range from the history of the field to strategies for building your own science communication brand. The slides also introduce a selection of AI tools that can support scientists, with a particular focus on video animation and comic design as creative approaches to communicating scientific concepts. This material can be used for self-study, teaching, or as a reference for future training activities, helping to extend the impact of the workshop beyond the event itself.
